I reserved an Alamo rental car through Costco website several months ago for an August trip to Colorado. I originally was scheduled to pick it up at 10AM, but need to change the time to 6PM. I have a very good rate that I don't want to lose, so I'm trying to identify a way to change the time without losing my rate. When I try to do this on the website, it only shows the current high rates. Has anyone had success changing arrival times without changing the rate?
Two suggestions:
1. Leave it as-is assuming it's for pickup at an airport location. You should be fine. Alamo's policy is that reservations are valid for the entire day (actually up to 24 hours from the scheduled pickup time).
2. Track it with AutoSlash and then immediately after submitting it for tracking, email
[email protected] with your Alamo confirmation number and let us know you'd like us to change the time on the tracking request from 10AM to 6PM. You never know... While rates may be higher right now, a better rate may come along in the future.
