If you want an easy system that just works then see my recommendation for Spamgourmet above.

You have unlimited fake emails, and can set them up at will. Everytime I sign up to a new site that I do know or trust I use a disposable spamgourmet address, eg "flyertalk.for.[antichef or my username] [at] spamgourmet.com" would route the email to my real protected address.

I would get the rerouted email showing that it came from the "flyertalk"site. If I ever got a spam to that address i would know who leaked or sold my email address! You can then turn off the disposable address so that no more messages are ever forwarded from each of the disposable addresses.

I have been using it since before I joined FT in 2006 as that is how I did it, so 15 years of happy use. And for free so I can't complain about the price either!!
