For about 15 years I have been using a disposable email service called Spamgourmet when signing up to things. You can design a cover address "on the fly" very easily and it forwards the mail to your protected private address.

Works very simply and very satisfactorily, and can direct spam to a big black hole. If it is what you are after try it here:
