This all depends on the company. Mine does not allow to earn MR points at all. It sounds like you pay $55 and then you can earn points that are yours to keep. You can transfer them as you wish to your other MR accounts ... same when you close the account. The discount with a corporate card for green/gold/plat has nothing to do with MR at all. That is a discount on your annual fee ... no more and no less.
