MCO vs PBI airport - Which to pick to fly out of

For MCO-PHL or PBI-PHL, I can't decide which airport to fly out of. We (me, wife, 2 young kids) will be staying in the Cape Canaveral area before flying out of MCO or PBI. MCO cost 66k SW points vs 40k AA miles if out of PBI. So cheaper via AA. However, PBI is a 2 hour drive from hotel vs 1 hour for MCO. But then, I also remembered that MCO isn't that friendly airport to fly out of. While we have global entry, last time I flew out of MCO, it still took a bit of time to pass TSA. Maybe it was just bad luck on my part. 1pm flight out of MCO vs 2pm flight out of PBI. Comparing PBI and MCO, what is an easier airport to travel out of (shorter lines, etc)?
