One thing to be careful of -- even if you do hit Globalist (and get the notification and can see it reflected in your account profile) the IT systems may not actually propagate the data quickly enough to the hotel's internal system for them to recognize you automatically as a Globalist.

When I initially hit Globalist, I had a few reservations shortly afterwards (not even the next day, but a few days later / the following week) and had the front desk greet me very cheerily "Thank you for being an Explorist!". I had to gently tell them that I had been recently upgraded to Globalist -- and the manager had to go back and check some other system to verify. The front desk check-in system still very prominently displayed "EXPLORIST" -- so not their mistake originally.

Could have been because I had already booked the reservations before hitting Globalist -- and sometimes the status is just in the "Notes" section of the reservation which often gets populated only at booking time unless some timely batch system or human like your concierge updates it.

Just something to be aware of.
