Back in 1999/2000 when the Centurion hullabaloo started on FT someone posted that AMEX (in the US at least) would give you two Centurion cards--if requested, both in the primary name (without changes needed), all under the normal fee (either 1000 or 2500) but it is my understanding they had different numbers, and either you or they put some marking (clored sticker.... etc) on the card so one could tell if it were for personal or business...all such that an AMEX Centurion customer would never have to hold a PLT or GLD...... and that they could just use a black Centurion card for all business/personal purchases. I may be wrong on this, but I do recall some scheme to seperate business/personal with Centurion at least.
