AA advertises a service. Buying DFW-ORD is sold as domestic first class right on the booking page, and they explicitly state what you are getting for that in their travel experience section of the web site. Their lawyers are smarter than most of the FT lawyers here.
Tread lightly….If they make a habit of flying widebodies on domestic routes, maybe they’ll just carve out subfleets with densely packed OASIS coach seating and standard domestic F instead of lie flats…
