Booked cheapest room at 171 euros per night, manager emailed me stating that they will be upgrading me to their 2nd largest Suites overlooking the Bosphorus and Topkapi Palace, Hagia, blue mosque . Woo-hoo!

No lounge, so offered free breakfast buffet on the 9th floor overlooking Galata tower. Plus 750 points per night (which obviously didn't post as per usual with Marriott modus of cheating you of your points - Marriott sisli 2x, JW istanbul, Sheraton Montréal, etc. just within the last month alone). These points plus breakfast was offered upon check in.

Octo resto on the 9th floor was great too, this time overlooking the Bosphorus. There is a bar on the 10th floor, accessible through a stairway on the 9th. Fantastic mojito and Maitai while watching the sunset over the Topkapi and the Bosphorus.

They are VERY good with covid safety and I really appreciated that. Temperature check each entry, lots of sanitizer dispensers, etc)

As for the suite itself, it was lovely. The GM sent a personal welcome card as well as cookies and about a dozen bottler water. Oh, and there are 3 bathrooms as well in their 2 bedroom suite.

What a lovely stay for a romantic getaway with your lover!
