If you can manage to get hold of a SIM card, Hungary has some insanely cheap rates right now: https://www.telekom.hu/lakossagi/szo...ernet-csomagok 30GB for 30 days is a 6000 HUF + 1000 HUF for the SIM, that's less than 25 USD. Activating can be done online. This is an automatically renewing service but if you have no money in your account and why would you have any then it just stops.

There's also 6GB option valid for 72 hours for a rather low 990 HUF and a 2GB for 24 hours for 550 HUF. You can't have multiple of the same service active at the same time but you can have multiple difference services.

Language barriers are a problem, no doubt. But it's worth a mention as these are EU wide rates.
