How much does it cost you to withdraw cash? Back in the days when there were fees for EU cards, I always used cash in Denmark. The signs that there were fees were often unspecific. It could say that there was a fee when using foreign cards without disclosing how big the fee was. The sign was often only in Danish, but many holders of foreign cards can't read Danish. Once they dropped the fees for EU debit cards (and later also for EU credit cards), I stopped looking for those signs.
