Yay .... finally !

To cancel a reward ticket - a simple task on the DL website, but apparently not at Flying Blue - I suffered many days of holding for hours at a time trying to get through to the US customer service center, to then in the end get disconnected before even talking to a human.
The Delta Diamond desk even offered to transfer me through their direct line - to promptly get disconnected again.
I even tried yesterday (Sunday) the NL # when I was sure there would be football on TV and assumed (naively) low call volumes - no such luck.

Well, this morning I started at 6 am (Pacific) and got through in 35 minutes to a call center in Santiago-de-Chile.
The itinerary was cancelled within a few minutes and voila, all done.
I wonder now how we - FB members in the US - can handle this after 12/31/21 - when assumingly refunds go back to prior rules and we in the US still have the 24-hr-free-cancellation policy.
If we by that time still have these issues getting through to make a simple change or cancellation ?

And .... I just had a response by tweet within 24 hrs
(Maybe things are looking up ?)
