We had Global Entry, but had to wait over 30 minutes for the checked bags. It was about an hour from the time we arrived to when we got through security at Terminal 3. So if you arrived exactly on time, it would be very possible to misconnect. There was a brief but crazy thunderstorm in ORD shortly after we arrived, and our second flight was delayed 3 hours, so we ended up having a 6 hour layover. That also caused the ORD-ATH flight to be delayed, which is probably why today's ATH-ORD flight was delayed a couple hours.
