Birthday is 100% irrelevant when booking an award ticket, so just book it anyhow. (and that's assuming that there is an actual glitch, and not that you are unaware that Europeans do day/month/year for dates)
You might also find it easier to set your second self up as a "beneficiary" ahead of time. (presumably you are trying to have some alternative OW elite status reflect on your booking, even though this is irrelevant with a J award)
