The car rental companies aren't in good order; and Hertz in bankruptcy isn't helping matters.

The rental companies are searching high and low for excuses. 1 hour early, no car. 1 hour late, no car. Booked an economy, no car. Booked a full size, no car. No car.

The customers aren't helping matters. The customers are double boking, triple booking, walking in off the street, intentionally booking the wrong date and walking in off the street, etc.

Ideally have alternatives to car rentals in the works such as ride share services or hotel transportation. Book the car as a loyalty program member, book a mid priced car, book to collect the car at opening and not closing.

I have rented with Hertz about 10 times the past four months and issues aren't resolved. No one is answering the phone or emails at corporate. No indication the other rental companies are the better options.
