Air France Increases Fuel Surcharge On Long-Haul Flights

Got this info from my travel agent. I apologise if this has been discussed earlier.

As the price of fuel has soared, Air France is increasing its fuel surcharge by 11 euros per segment, on long-haul flights only. This increase, valid on tickets issued as from 11 October 2004, will be withdrawn as soon as the price of the barrel goes below 40 dollars for 30 consecutive days. However, the surcharge on the domestic and medium-haul networks (Europe and North Africa) remains unchanged.
