Summer rentals have always been problematic in the city especially on Saturday. Hertz also closed a bunch of locations in the city which has made things even worse. There are a few of us here that prefer to take PT over to LGA rather then renting at the Hertz locations in the city. M60 will drop you off 1 block from Hertz LGA and very often you can do a one way with no fee for dropping off back in the city. Its a much better experience and at least for me very much worth the trek.
