We did two trips to Hawaii in the first part of this year. Got AA Premium Economy for 65k round trip per person each time.

I felt that was a good use of the miles to burn through some because the days of discount J redemptions to Europe are likely long gone.

Moral of the story if you see something you like just go for it. Because it could be double the cost tomorrow.
