Using Oyster+ and Veterans/any railcard

Going from Basingstoke to London Waterloo, I have an Oyster+ card which can get me from Surbiton to Waterloo. By virtue of a Veterans railcard I get a discount on rail tickets, is there a way that I can combine the two so I get free travel from Surbiton without having to get off the train and tap in at Surbiton? Now, the massive saving is £4 and I am not so worried about but that just wondered if it was possible without having to get on/off the train in which case I would bother, if there isn't I won't.
