The deal is that COVID has ushered in an era of 'new normal' where we pay the same pre COVID full service price for what are effectively limited service properties. (And loyalty be damned along with any elite perks you might be owed).
There isn't a whole lot to differentiate between an Airbnb in a condo building and a 'full service' hotel property these days.
