I had to fight for a lot of my points. Still felt shortchanged, but a lot better than what I started with. They initially gave me 20K, lumping most of my stay into the single night I had at the Stella Maris Villa (which was booked with a travel agent and not eligible for points). After I called, they upped it to 100K. After more fighting, it was finally bumped up to 191K. In the end, on a bill of ~$8700 pre tax and service fees, looked like I got points on ~$6400.
The watersports not counting is common across the Maldives, as most resorts utilize an outside company to run those outlets.
Typically, an outside company also handles the transfer. In the case of W.A owning their own yachts, it is rather ridiculous they don't award points for that.
