My current ticket has had quite a life and it has been going for over a year.
Cruise canceled for Europe in summer of 2020 got credit for ticket purchases months before in PE
Added money and bought ticket to Serbia for June 2020
Canceled and booked CUN for July 2020, got evoucher for difference
Added money to evoucher credit and booked to BLQ return from GOA (2 different cruises) in Business Class to low fares ~330 days in advance of Aug 26, 2021
BA stopped the GOA-LGW flight, got free change to Pisa to LHR (better since connection was from LHR)
Cruise from Genoa canceled by me (COVID apparently removed my whirlpool suite cabin), added different cruise for that second week (now same ship as for the first week)
Changed return to from Venice 2 days sooner, got $79.50 credit
I accidentally cancel my cheap ($2191) business class booking and AA restored it for me.
The next day, back to back cruises canceled from Ravenna, booked 12 day cruise AMS to FCO
Canceled ticket to BLQ and from VCE, got $387.50 credit after new booking to AMS and from FCO (different dates and PE instead of Business)
Trying to dispel the notion AA is being "too greedy" when allowing ticket reuse.
It's hasn't easy trying to cruise.
