ISTR sometime in 2018 or 2019 there was a note on one of my statements saying that I now needed to enroll each of my Amex cards individually in PCRP, and they had deactivated all but the card I initially registered. Before, if you registered one, it activated on all Amex cards in your account.
By then I was already using my CSR for rental cars anyway, so it was a moot point. Though I agree that for me the increased limits aren't the main attraction of these insurance programs; their function as primary insurance is the bigger benefit.
I've re-enrolled both of my cards, if that's what you want to call it, but it's never been un-enrolled, but for some reason my Platinum card NEVER charges me the "amex rental insurance fee". I called once about the problem and the lady on the phone just asked when was my rental dates and then she went to my statement and applied it many months after the fact. And when she did that, she accidently credited the entire Enterprise Rental charge, and then I had to call back and to fix that and THEN they finally applied the amex rental fee for premium insurance. I have no plans on calling them again. They're simply stupid.
I'll use the green card next month and see if it works. The plan is on both accounts by what I see online and when calling the company. Not much else I can do. And I have screen shots. I use this insurance as my primary insurance because I don't have vehicle insurance. So, I use this insurance for the vehicle
and get liability for damages I might cause.
On Edit: I don't have vehicle insurance because I no longer own a vehicle and have no desire to.
