On LH NZ AC and US you will be able to get preferred seating. While they might not have extra legroom, it is a benefit. US and LH will give you a 25% bonus (trans-Atlantic on LH) and US will give you Priority Boarding and Check-In. I'm not sure on other Star Carriers.
