Hopefully slot waivers will finally be gone for NYC by the end of October. Then AS will either be forced to fly those again or lose the slots. Should be getting a decision in the next few months as to whether or not the waivers will finally be suspended. NY/DCA flight prices would definitely tank if business travel is not fully back and the slot waivers disappear as capacity would likely far exceed demand in the depths of winter.
