It would seem like travel demand is returning faster than flights to accommodate it. I’d assume that over the next 12 months we will see schedules get a lot denser. Assuming nothing shuts it all down again, that is. But until the supply of seats aligns with demand, I’m bracing for abnormally high prices.

I’ve got two trips to Austin coming up over the summer that I managed to lock in for about $220 round-trip, but those are probably the last cheap flights for a while.
