Hi all,

I have an upcoming reservation booked with Pay My Way, currently with 2 free nights and one point night. The hotel is fully booked for the dates. (Min 3 nights restrictions imposed for the dates as well)

As there’s a point rebate for UB properties, I tend to save one free night certificate for later and want to use points for one more night.

Called customer service and was told in fully booked situations like this, there’s no way to switch around 1 night from certificate to points. Nothing can be done from their end or hotels side.

Does anyone know if there would be any workaround? Maybe I could cancel and rebook immediately or is that too risky and should I talk to hotel first? As I’m not sure the moment when I cancel would the inventory be released for sell.

Would appreciate any comments/suggestions on this, thank you in advance.
