Just had a severe case of sticker shock when exploring possible leisure trip ex-SAN in early December 2021. AS recently added seasonal 4x weekly SAN-CUN nonstop, I fell off my chair when checking fares - ~$800 OW for the 5 hour flight

Based on the limited number of seats sold to date, I fully expect this to come down as the date approaches, but what are they smoking?
