No, but there are plenty of folks who rent $75K Escalades, and to them, it certainly could matter. That's one of the reasons Amex offers a higher coverage level to the higher-end card. They have to throw you a few bones for the $550 annual fee right?

that's what I thought.. I thought it's just for people renting higher end vehicles.. me I just like simple sedans with good gas mileage. Glad to know.
