Bringing medications that need refrigeration?

Thanks in advance for any info --- does anyone have experience on SQ flights, requesting cabin crew to store medications that need to be refrigerated? Many carriers refuse on the basis that there is no space / refrigerators are reserved for food. However SQ does say the following with respect to baby milk (https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/r...estion-34753):

The stowage of milk bottles or cooler bags in the chiller are subjected to space availability and on a best effort basis as the chillers are used to store passengers' meals and minerals. As we are unable to guarantee the exact temperature of the chiller and to prevent contamination of the milk, it is recommended that only 100ml milk bottles/bags should be stored in a small cooler bag together with ice packs as required to ensure the milk is kept chilled. The preferred dimension of the cooler bag is 15cm X 15 cm X 15 cm due to the space constraints in the chillers onboard.
Perhaps sometimes a request to store meds would be granted? These would just be medicines that need to be kept refrigerated, not frozen. As an alternative, perhaps the passenger could just bring a portable cooler and ask for ice as needed.
