Not technically Ft Lauderdale, but i am a HUGE fan of the Hollywood Beach Marriott. Comer room on a high floor is awesome! Outdoor bar restaurant is really good as is the beach the hotel is located on. And it has covered parking which is a plus in the Florida heat.
