Hyatt Sharm El Sheikh

I had a good experience at the Hyatt Sharm El Sheikh last February. This one is also in Egypt, but I would say is much safer than Taba Heights. There's a separate Regency Club section of rooms with it's own pool and beach. Complimentary breakfast and plentiful snacks at night. As a Diamond, I was upgraded to a large ocean view room. There was plenty of sun and if you're into diving, there are plenty of diving/snorkeling opportunities as it's on the Red Sea.

It's a bit outside of the city, which is very touristy.Getting there generally will require catching a connecting flight out of Cairo or Amman, although I have heard that a British carrier is flying there.

Separately, the Hyatts in Jerusalem and at the Dead Sea aren't part of the Hyatt group anymore.

Do you have any recommendations for a great value beach resort (anywhere in the world)?

Important criteria would be nice beach, friendly service, good treatment of diamonds - to make it a really good bargain, Cat. 1 would be great...

Resorts (not sure about whether they have a beach) which are listed as Cat. 1 are:

Asia:
- Bali Hyatt
- Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta
- Hyatt Regency Kuantan
- Hyatt Regency Kathmandu
- Hyatt Regency Macau
- Hyatt Regency Hua Hin

North America:
- Grand Victoria Casino & Resort by Hyatt (Rising Sun)

Latin America:
- Hyatt Regency Cancun
- Hyatt Regency Acapulco

EMEA:
- Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh
- Hyatt Regency Taba Heights (I probably wouldn't want to go to Egypt right now)
- Hyatt Regency Dead Sea Resort & Spa
- Hyatt Regency Jerusalem

Which one of those would you recommend as a great bargain?

Thanks
