If the offer breakfast they should offer it to you as an arrival benefit. If the hotel has no breakfast for any guest, then arguably they only owe you 750 points
In my case with the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston where the lounge was closed but they had a restaurant offering breakfast they were offering 1,000 points per day for the lounge closure which was 250 additional points above what Marriott requires its franchises to do at that level.
