We did a 5 night stint here in late May on the Zilara side. It was our first experience at a Hyatt all-inclusive.
-Our room was a Jr. Suite on top floor with a balcony and an incredible view of the resort/beach.
-The club area facilities (lounge/pool) were very nice, and the drinks were definitely better by the club pool.
-The service was incredible. Not only that, it was genuine and not forced. Everyone we encountered was wonderful.
EDIT: Forgot Adrian, our Butler, who was fantastic and very helpful.
-FOOD:
Brando's (French/Polynesian): Cool atmosphere, but meh on the food.
Shutters (Peruvian): Had lunch and dinner here and both were excellent.
Navigator (Caribbean/Seafood): Had dinner here and it was excellent.
Chinola (Healthy/Keto): Had lunch and dinner here. Lunch was better than dinner IMO, but both were great.
Journey's (Indian): Had dinner here. Was very good, but we are spoiled for Indian food here in Chicago.
Poolside+Waterpark (Sandwiches/Pizza): I had Pizza which was actually really good, and my hubby had a couple of Cheeseburgers (poolside was good, waterpark was incredible)
Buffet: Ate breakfast here a few times and lunch once. It was very good.
FUN:
-Pools are great, and there is plenty of activities for anyone who wants to participate during the day/evening. \
-There was also a nightly show at the outdoor theater in between the Ziva and Zilara sides.
-Moments (Sports Bar), by the theater was a lot of fun with very friendly staff, pool tables, and plenty of TVs to watch the NBA/NHL Playoffs and Baseball etc.
-The Waterpark was a good time! All the slides got the blood flowing, especially the Yellow one!
OVERALL:
We are already planning to return here in the next year or so. In my personal experience with all-inclusive concepts, I would rate this near the top.
