Heh, I love technology (though I am cautious about the idea of a big evil conglomerate corporation tech nexus manipulating us all.)
However, I met a man recently who went to the Beverly Terrace in Los Angeles, well, Beverly Hills, and they had apparently just been purchased. When he got there to check in, they demanded he download an app from the brand called "Sonder" and log in to be allowed to check in, and told him there was no other way he could check in. He says he is dyslexic at memorizing passwords etc and if he wasn't busy as all can be, he may would sue them for not being "accessible" but I did find it crazy that they wouldn't accommodate!!! He said he has been staying there for years. He promptly said to cancel his reservation and got a new hotel.
