the Thompson Chicago also has a terrible reputation for treating globalists poorly
I likely will avoid the brand despite the properties looking appealing until they take on the Hyatt culture if ever
Service culture is very important to me and having a good satisfying stay where they care
I know this isn't super prevalent to the GH Seattle, but I did want to add that I had an amazing, service-oriented stay at the Thompson San Antonio a couple of months ago where I was upgraded to their second-highest suite tier, had an amazing Globalist breakfast, and had many personable service interactions with the front desk, valets, restaurant staff, and housekeeping (loved the nightly turndown service). Of course, the property has always been in WOH since its opening early this year, so there might be a difference there.
