I just billed my items to the room and a lump sum credit was given at checkout.
This time I only stayed alone, so they only gave me $10 a day. But when I stayed here with a partner, they never asked to show the other person; the two of us checked in together and either one of us would pick up things at the market and charge it to the room.

Yup, you are entitled to $10 per person per day. I'm glad that this hotel is doing a good job at providing this. I believe this is the only category 4 in Manhattan so it's nice to see that you had a pleasant experience. How were the prices at the mini mart relative to the $20 F&B credit? Any comment on upgrades? Thanks for sharing.
