as another posted stated this is all pandemic driven. Face it, Kew West is really the only tropical destination in the US that is 1. Relatively easy to get to 2. Zero covid restrictions and 3. None of the Hawaii testing protocol crap to deal with. It makes EYW an easy choice, and for that matter, Florida in general. Have you seen the hotel prices at any hotel on or near the water? Hamptons are going for $400 a night. It's madness.
