booked a ticket of 498 and redeemed 200 from travelbank
I see 200 deducted from travelbank and I see 498 charged from my credit card posted (even the reservation email receipt showing 298 charged to cc)
called in regular customer with reservation, agent figured it out with her supervisor that the ticketing DEPT did NOT successfully collect that "200" from the travelbank DEPT (even 200 was redeemed already), they said ticketing dept would manually collect that 200 (not touching my travelbank account, and refund 200 to cc) BUT my call was quickly transferred to MileagePlus dept (I think it is right since travelbank is associated with MileagePlus account)
However, MileagePlus person had no idea about this travelbank fund/billing issue, and transferred me to web support dept
At web support, they insisted only 298 is approved, and suggest me to dispute with CC
The weird thing I noticed is that the ticket number from the Email receipt sent from web support is different than the ticket number showing from the credit card transaction details
