I am not certain how things work in your neck of the woods, but in USA, Amex (all finanicial centers) require a social security #, I am assuming that in UK you have an equilivance to this, so thats a slight problem, in my eyes.
BUT...there is always a but
I think if you plead your case with Amex, tell them, I shop for business & want a totally seperate account, should not be a problem with you as the primary & you as a secondary on one account, makes sense to me why you are doing it. Maybe to make things simpler, one account is labelled as 'bobnick' & the secondary as 'mr. bobnick'
