Thank you dw. Although I’m an admitted SUB addict, with about 120 SUBs in the past 10 years and several years of 20/24, this is my first IHG card since 3 years ago and with my other 8 IHG cards I met the minimum spend and then either closed the account a month or 2 later (years ago) or sock-drawered the card so I have no recollection of the timing for Chase sending points to IHG. You’re absolutely correct, I “expect all points earned from one statement would be sent over at the same time”. Thanks for pointing out Chase’s “odd” timing.

It’s been about 3 days since statement close and about 2 days since spend points posted to IHG. I hope you’re correct (“delays of one or more days”) and NOT maybe somehow in their bottomless pit of appalling customer (non)service the phone agents were correct with their 6-8 week pronouncement. (A 6-8 week delay would be annoying enough, their being correct would merely amplify that annoyance.)

Thanks again. And thank you for not defending the indefensible (horrendous customer service).

Addendum: Bonus just posted to IHG, 2 days after spend points. I'm happy that dw is correct and not IHG phone agents.
