Love and hate relationship
Hi all,
I’m generally a big fan of Qantas.
I’ve rarely had a problem when flying with them, and when there has been a problem, Qantas/I’ve been able to sort it out pretty quickly and stress free.
I have no status with Qantas, but I am a big point earner and spender.
This post may be considered more of a vent, But I’m also keen to hear others experiences.
I booked a J reward ticket for myself, my wife, and my unborn child back in March 2021. Now that our child has been born, I needed to ring QFF to update information, and also ensure we could get a bassinet seat.
I wish I could somehow manage, update and solve this simple issue myself. Unfortunately I cannot, so I am forced to call QFF.
Been on hold for over 2 hours. But we all know that is to get expected when calling Qantas.
My question is, should there be a # to call that can simply handle basic changes like this? As in, no schedule changes/change of flight. Simply basic changes like meal request.
I’ve been cued up with people that could be booking a very complicated itinerary, or requesting complicated refunds. Yet all I need to do is inform Qantas of my sons name,
and request a bassinet seat.
