Quick question:
Will be staying at a Marriott Hotel where the lounge is closed, so breakfast should be offered. However, the "whattoexpect" website of the hotel currently states:
Breakfast: Not available at this time
Lounge Access: no lounge access

The T&C clearly state:
If lounge is closed, or hotel does not have a lounge, offer daily breakfast in restaurant for two or 750pts/day

Am I correct that they'll be actively offering 750pts and therefore not having to pay the US$100 guest compensation "if no breakfast or breakfast alternative was offered to member"? That really seems like an incredibly weak thing to do. Or is the "breakfast alternative" something completely different then the 750pts?
