Hey Explorist also here, and I just completed a 2 night stay. Great location and terrific room. No view to speak of, but I liked the hotel. The food and bev offerings were a little confusing.

But, I too had a loud HVAC noise and then I realized that it's the TV Stand/Desk/Wardrobe thing that's metal and wood and against that well. It's vibrating against the wall where the HVAC unit it and causes the noise. So maybe they could just put some foam in there or something.
