The 788 has only 5 rows in business, so fewer business class seats. thanks for the info. They would have to collapse 10 full rows of business into 5 which would be tough unless like you say the occupancy is less than 50% and there aren’t many families/couples to complicate matters.
I guess I’ll stick with 7L and monitor the flight as suggested above. Reminds me a bit of tracking a BMW along its transatlantic shipping!
