Hit Ambassador this week after my stay over Memorial Day weekend. Points/Rooms/Spend didn't post correctly so I emailed the Ambassador email that now showed in my app. Less then a hour or so later I got an email back saying they applied the correct points using the folios I attached and to give it a bit as it needs approval due to the amount (175kish points). Was genuinely surprised and happy to see after some reports on here. The last time I had an issue I did the missing stay request and it took about a week to get resolved but it did as a platinum.
Two days ago I got a call from Marriott congratulating me on hitting Ambassador and noting my request with the points and asked if everything was resolved correctly and I said yes. Got asked If I had an feedback going through the tiers and noted my continued stays at specific hotels.
Yesterday I booked a hotel and got a call from the hotel shortly after congratulating me on hitting Ambassador recently, upgraded my room to highest one available and asked if there were any requests I may have they can take care early and if I'd be arriving earlier then check-in that my room is already ready. Told her I would arriving at night and she asked if I preferred a mobile key she'd just process it so I can head straight my room.
Overall, they've made a huge impression on me just hitting the status.

Other than generic emails, I've had no contact from Marriott this year. And I just spent about $9k with them in May.
