HMG have published their risk assessment which includes the following:
- Infection rate (per 100k population over 7 days)
- Number of new tests (per 1000 population over 7 days)
- Test positivity (calculated using the previous two measures)
- Total vaccinations per 100 population
- Various details about VOC and traveller positivity
Of course, the success of the vaccine programme in the UK seems to count for nothing...and what about Malta, which clearly passes all these "tests"?
At some point, the airlines might just give up on the UK and really, who would blame them?
