I had reached out to 4S last week about booking timelines for Tamarindo. Spoke w/ someone who shared this info so the info above is no longer accurate: "The resort is a brand new building and is actually located in a different beach, called Majahua. The old “El Tamarindo Hotel” was located on Tamarindo beach, which is located about 10 minutes drive (on golf cart) from the new resort."
