A friend was abandoned by her husband a number of years ago. He hasn't used his BW account for ever. Now she wants to change the first name on the account from his to hers and continue to use it herself (last name would remain the same). There are almost no points in the account, BTW. Would a simple phone call suffice to get the first name changed? Is such a change even possible?

My first thought was to tell her to start a new account in her own name, but perhaps his account still has status, even after all this time.
