Just finished a 3 day stay at this property, using 2 Amex certs and 1 night paid, over the Memorial Day weekend. Overall, very positive stay and would return.
Dining: Ate at Cayton's burger bistro twice. Really enjoyed it enough to go back a second time. As others have noted, call in advance to get a reservation. They have blocked opentable reservations so that only hotel guests can eat there. This is annoying but make the phone call and they have availability, but do it in advance. I ate lunch at the pool 3 days in a row, the food was quite good and the service was as well. The Nachos and the quesadilla's are quite good. I did not try the lobby restaurant or the downstairs restaurant
Check In/Service: No recognition or notice of Marriott Titanium status. I am not sure if I got an upgraded room, but the room given was identical to the one upthread. I was happy with it. Everyone I talked to at the hotel was quite nice.
Pool: Only drawback was the pool was a mad house, likely due to the holiday weekend. It has the typical games where you need to put crap on a pool chair at 7 am to "hold a chair" daily. This results in no one at the pool but every chair taken at 10 am. I suggest getting there early and reserving a seat with a book and towel.
Hiking: This hotel has some great hikes, I did a guided hike with Ranger Steve. He was amazing and would suggest this to anyone. On the day I signed up, no one else, did so I got a private hike for the price of a guided hike.
